Forget about the Oscars, we’ve been shortlisted in this year’s First Time Buyer Awards.
Celebrating our commitment to providing starter homes across the country, we’re up for two accolades in the national awards: Best Family Starter Home for our development at Glan Llyn in Newport, South Wales and Best Urban Regeneration for our development at Branston Leas near Burton-upon-Trent in Staffordshire.
Now it’s down to you. If you’d like to say that you live on an award-winning development, that your house was built by an award-winning housebuilding or, if you’re simply a big fan of your new home and want to celebrate that, then we’d love you to vote for us.

So, why are we up for the awards?
Basically, we believe that providing homes for first time buyers is vital for a successful housing market. We also believe that first times buyers shouldn’t have to compromise on design or quality. With this in mind, we deliver stand-out, contemporary properties, with high ceilings, large windows and spacious rooms, all of which have real kerb-appeal and include a top specification as standard.
At both Glan Llyn and Branston Leas, more than 50% of our purchasers are first time buyers, many of whom are families buying a three or four bedroom home.
It’s not just our contemporary house designs that have attracted people to our developments either. Part of larger regeneration projects, both Glan Llyn and Branston Leas have brought vast improvements to the local area thanks to the additional amenities we’ve delivered. At Branston Leas this includes more than a hundred new homes, local shops, a sports pavilion and the creation of a new bluebell wood; all of which have helped attract a large number of first time buyers to the development.
Being shortlisted in these awards is testament to the hard work that’s put into delivering our developments, from planning to designing the properties and our ever-helpful sales teams.
The winner of the award will be decided by an online public vote that will run until midnight on Monday 10th April. Thank you in advance to everyone that votes!
