The power of three at Hilton Valley

The power of three at Hilton Valley

08 June 2016

Award-winning housebuilder, St. Modwen Homes, has unveiled a trio of Show Homes at its Hilton Valley development in South Derbyshire.

The first homes to be unveiled at the development, the Showhomes represent a range of four and five bedroom house designs – the Barlow, Garnet and Keyne – all of which have already proven popular with home buyers in the local area. Impressively, since the development launched in April, 17 homes have been reserved; the majority being three and four bedroom family homes.

Styled by Midlands based interior designers, Killer 5, the Keyne boasts an elegant finish with mauve hues used alongside luxurious fabrics and textured wallpaper in the living room. In the open plan kitchen, dining and family room – which is accessed via double doors from the living room and has French doors leading out to the rear garden – neutral tones are used alongside statement accessories such as oversized vases and feature lighting to draw attention to focal points in the room. Upstairs, three of the five bedrooms benefit from an en suite and both the master bedroom and second bedroom have built-in wardrobes.

Adopting one of the most popular interior design trends of 2016, the Garnet Showhome nods to the industrial theme throughout, including the use of exposed filament lightbulbs, coffee tables with cast iron wheels and worn-looking chests used as extra storage. Perfect for family living, the Garnet has an open plan kitchen and dining room, as well as a spacious living room and separate family room, not to mention an additional study area and four double bedrooms upstairs.

Bev Hall, Sales and Marketing Director at St. Modwen Homes, said: “Opening the first Showhomes at a development is always an exciting time, especially when there’s not one, not two but three properties for people to have a look around. The Showhomes let people see what they can expect from St. Modwen Homes, including the high specification, tall ceilings and large windows that come as standard.”

St. Modwen Homes currently has a range of two, three and four bedroom houses for sale, with prices starting from £153,995 for a two bedroom property.

The new homes at Hilton Valley form part of the regeneration of the former Ministry of Defence Central Vehicle Storage Depot. St. Modwen will also deliver employment opportunities and is set to contribute £1.5 million towards secondary education in Hilton.
