Alohomora! Harry Potter helps open doors at Littlecombe

21 June 2016

St. Modwen Homes brought a touch of magic to Dursley this weekend, opening two new Showhomes at its Littlecombe development with a Harry Potter themed launch.

The St. Modwen Homes team embraced the wizarding world of Harry Potter to open the doors to the three bedroom Mirin and Webster Showhomes. As well as a chance to look round the two Showhomes for the first time, St. Modwen Homes offered visitors a taste of the magic with themed food and drink alongside the chance to win a family ticket to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour.

Bev Hall, Sales and Marketing Director at St. Modwen Homes, said: “Dursley has proven a popular place to call home and we’ve already had lots of interest from new homeowners since launching the second phase of homes at the development earlier this year.

“To open the new Showhomes at Littlecombe we wanted to celebrate the local area and as J.K. Rowling grew up in Gloucestershire, and named Harry Potter’s relatives, the Dursleys, after the market town, a themed launch was the perfect opportunity to enchant visitors with the St. Modwen Homes’ difference.”

Overlooking the rolling hills of the Cotswold Edge, Littlecombe is located on Lister Road, less than one mile from the high street in the market town of Dursley. Combining traditional features with contemporary design, the new Showhomes at Littlecombe use a diverse range of elevation materials.

This is the first time that both the Webster and Mirin homes will be available to purchase in the current phase at Littlecombe. Both homes offer spacious, open plan living spaces with French doors leading to the garden and built-in wardrobes and an en suite to the master bedroom upstairs.

Additionally, each property has been designed in keeping with St. Modwen Homes’ philosophy of light and height, the new homes also feature large windows and higher than average ceilings, that create bright and spacious living areas, full of natural light.

A range of one, two and four bedroom homes are currently available at Littlecombe, with prices starting from £152,995. Plus all the homes are available to purchase with a 5% deposit under the Government’s Help to Buy scheme.
