Money-saving weekend for Birmingham & Worcester househunters

Money-saving weekend for Birmingham & Worcester househunters

05 October 2016

Home buyers across Birmingham and Worcester can grab themselves a deal this weekend (8 and 9 October), thanks to thousands of pounds of savings available across St. Modwen Homes’ developments.

For one weekend only, the multi award-winning housebuilder is offering substantial savings on Stamp Duty, £1,000 towards legal fees and free carpets and flooring throughout for anyone that reserves a selected four or five bedroom home at Gregorys Bank in Worcester and Cofton Grange in Longbridge.

Bev Hall, Sales and Marketing Director at St. Modwen Homes, said: “With the end of 2016 now in sight, we wanted to give everyone that hoped to buy a house this year a helping hand to make their aspirations a reality.

“For most people, buying a house is the most significant purchase they will make. That’s why, as well as helping out with the cost of Stamp Duty, legal fees and flooring, we will also have Independent Financial Advisors and a local Estate Agent on hand at each of our developments this weekend so that people can get all their questions answered on the same day and in the same place. By hosting this open weekend, we’re hoping to make people’s house purchase as stress-free as possible.

“What’s more, with three months to go until Christmas, some purchasers that reserve a property this weekend may even be in a position where they could move into their new home in time for the festive season.”

Visitors to the open weekend will also be able to walk around the various Showhomes at the developments, giving people a flavour of the new homes as well as the latest interior design inspiration.

The government’s Help to Buy scheme – under which people need just a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage to secure a property – is also available on all plots at St. Modwen Homes’ developments.

Celebrating its fifth anniversary, St. Modwen Homes has gained a reputation as a trusted housebuilder, known for its stand-out house designs and high quality build. All its homes are designed with a philosophy of light and height, resulting in bright, spacious rooms throughout. What’s more, many of its developments, including Cofton Grange, are part of St. Modwen’s larger regeneration projects, meaning homeowners benefit from other facilities – such as schools, green spaces, offices and shops – that are being delivered on their doorstep.

St. Modwen Homes’ developments will be open between 10am and 5.30pm on Saturday and Sunday. More information can be found at, on the development’s Facebook pages and on Twitter (@StModwenHomes).
