St. Modwen Homes has started construction on 85 new homes at St. Andrew’s Park in Uxbridge, Greater London.
With construction now underway, St. Modwen Homes aims to launch the first properties for sale next month, coinciding with the opening of the on-site sales and marketing suite. The first homes to be released will include a mix of one and two-bedroom maisonettes and four bedroomed, three and four storey townhouses; some of which will boast views directly onto the park.
All the new homes will have their own allocated parking spaces as well as lockable cycle storage and access to visitor parking. The first Showhome is due to open in May 2017.
Dave Smith, Managing Director at St. Modwen Homes, said: “St. Andrew’s Park is set to be a truly standout development and a great example of regeneration in the UK. More than just homes, new homeowners will also benefit from the many amenities being delivered on site, including places to work, a theatre, museum and new restaurant, as well as the park and John Locke Academy Primary School that have already been delivered.”
St. Andrew’s Park has a rich history and as the former RAF Uxbridge played a pivotal role in the Battle of Britain. The development is home to the Battle of Britain Bunker museum and operations room as well as the Grade II listed Hillingdon House, which sits at the heart of the park and is set to become home to a new restaurant.
The new homes by St. Modwen Homes will build upon the growing new community, with earlier phases of new homes already occupied and the John Locke Academy well-established.
