Award-winning housebuilder, St. Modwen Homes, is bridging the gap between Bristol and Newport and offering to pay new homeowner’s toll charges for a year at its Glan Llyn development.
As house prices in Bristol continue to rise, an increasing number of people are choosing to relocate, with many citing the new facilities in the city – including Friars Walk – and good transport links as their reason for moving.
Bev Hall, Sales and Marketing Director at St. Modwen Homes, said: “Glan Llyn has always been a popular development but, recently, we’ve noticed a growing number of people have relocated here from areas such as Bristol.
“Being located just off the Queensway and close to the M4, Glan Llyn is perfectly positioned for commuters, so we wanted to give our homeowners a helping hand by paying their toll charges for a year. This could save over £1,500 which can then go towards making their new house a home.”
Nearly 70% of St. Modwen Homes’ purchasers chose to buy a new home at Glan Llyn because of the location, with many attracted by the facilities that are being delivered at the development, including a new primary school, doctor’s surgery and plenty of open space, as well as the pub, The Llanwern Bull, that opened last summer.
Currently, there is a range of three and four bedroom homes available to purchase at Glan Llyn; all of which have been designed according to St. Modwen Homes’ philosophy of height and light, which means large windows and higher than average ceilings throughout, creating bright open living spaces.
Prices for the new homes start from just £194,995 for a semi-detached, three bedroom home and all the properties are available to purchase with 5% deposits under the government’s Help to Buy scheme.
A multi award-winning housebuilder, St. Modwen Homes also recently achieved a 5 star rating from the House Builder’s Federation (HBF); the highest accolade to be granted by the national housebuilding body.
The Marketing Suite and Showhomes at Glan Llyn are open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5.30pm. For more information, or to make an appointment, call 0844 243 4606.
