Second show home opens at St. Andrew’s Park, Uxbridge

04 September 2017

St. Modwen Homes has put out the welcome mat to a second show home at its popular St. Andrew’s Park development in Uxbridge, Greater London.

Since opening, the four bedroom Hawker townhouse has delighted potential homeowners, with two of the five Hawkers currently released purchased on the opening weekend.

Priced from £669,995 and available under the Government’s Help to Buy scheme, the new show home combines luxury and practicality. Stylish bi-folding doors and a double fan oven with six burner gas hob are fitted as standard in the open plan kitchen and dining room, whilst the master bedroom benefits from a private en suite and two built-in wardrobes.

Finished by award-winning interior designers, Killer 5, the show home takes inspiration from classical architecture to create a timeless elegance. Vintage prints of Roman columns and decorative mouldings are used in the living room, alongside cosy grey furnishings and sliver metallic accessories. Upstairs, the four bedrooms – each of which fits a double bed – continue with the grey colouring but use check, rope and floral patterns to add texture and interest.

Bev Hall, Sales and Marketing Director at St. Modwen Homes, said: “We’ve already sold over 50% of homes in our initial release at St. Andrew’s Park and have now welcomed our first homeowners to the development.

“Over the past 12 months, we’ve seen a rise in demand for three storey living across our developments and have taken this into account with the design of our new homes. Many people find three storey homes offer greater flexibility, with the ground floor bedroom used as an office for those working from home, a gym, craft room or simply to give an older child more privacy.”

Proving popular, more than xx% of purchasers at St. Andrews Park, have used Help to Buy London, whether they’re buying their first home or moving up the property ladder. Under the scheme, people can purchase a new home with a deposit of just 5%, meaning the deposit needed to secure a Hawker home could be as little as £33,500; much lower than the average deposit needed to buy a home in the London area. Homeowners will also need to secure at least a 55% mortgage and the Government will lend up to 40% of the cost of your new build home.

In addition to the Hawker show home, St. Modwen Homes also has a four bedroom York show home at St. Andrew’s Park.

St. Modwen Homes’ properties at St. Andrew’s Park form the latest phase of the 1,300-home new community at the former RAF Uxbridge site in Hillingdon.  St. Modwen, together with its joint venture partner VINCI is leading the regeneration project.

The marketing suite is open between 10am and 5.30pm and is located at St. Andrew’s Park, Churchill Road, Uxbridge, West London UB10 URX.
