New homes prove a huge hit in Clay Cross

16 February 2018

Multi award-winning housebuilder, St. Modwen Homes, has opened the doors to its new development in Clay Cross and, based on the high level of visitors and reservations on the opening weekend, it seems that it’s exactly what people have been waiting for.

Receiving many positive comments about the contemporary designs, practical layouts and high quality build, Egstow Park is offering a mix of three and four bedroom luxury houses in its initial release.

Delivering the wow factor, St. Modwen Homes also unveiled three new show homes on the launch weekend including the Garnet, Clermont and Paris; all of which are four bedroom detached houses in varying styles.

Jo Winston, Head of Sales North at St. Modwen Homes, said: “Our launch of Egstow Park was a huge success and, based on the initial feedback we’ve had, it seems that people really did fall in love with our new homes.

“Prior to the launch, we’d already had substantial interest from the local community, with more than 300 people registered and many asking about reserving homes under our earlybird scheme. It therefore came as no surprise that we took our first sales over the weekend and it was lovely to celebrate with our first homeowners.”

As well as boasting stylish internal layouts, the homes have also been designed with practicality in mind, taking into account the latest technology including intelligent heating systems and smart video door entry. Additionally, new homeowners can expect a luxurious specification as standard, with integrated designer kitchens, chrome light fittings and energy-saving features all included at no extra cost.

A total of 16 house designs will be launched in total at Egstow Park, including a range of two bedroom properties due to be released at a later date. Prices currently start from around £180,000 for a three bedroom home.

The new homes are part of a larger development by St. Modwen which, to date, has delivered a 1,900 sq ft sports pavilion and local sports facilities and a Marstons family pub and restaurant. Moving forwards, Egstow Park will also offer new shops, green space, play areas and employment opportunities.  St. Modwen Homes is currently delivering the first phase of 168 properties at Egstow Park.

Rated a five star housebuilder, the highest accreditation to be given by national industry organisation, HBF, St. Modwen Homes has developed a reputation for high quality and contemporary and stylish designs. All its properties are built with the philosophy of light and height which results in large windows and higher than average ceilings in all the rooms. Additionally, St. Modwen Homes has won multiple awards for the support it gives to first time buyers.

The Marketing Suite and show homes at Egstow Park are open from 10am to 5.30pm on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and between 12pm and 7.30pm on Thursday.
