Hugely anticipated apartments now launched in Rugby

21 October 2014

A hugely anticipated brand new phase of apartments has now been launched at St. Modwen Homes’ Edison Place development, located off Technology Drive in Rugby.

When complete, the new phase will deliver 40 new homes across six apartment blocks. The first six apartments (from block one), were launched for sale on Saturday 18th October.

This is the second phase of apartments to be built at Edison Place. Proving exceptionally popular, particularly with first time buyers and investors, the first phase sold out in just two weeks.

Bev Hall, Sales and Marketing Director at St. Modwen Homes, said: “Since our last phase of apartments sold out in a matter of days, we’ve been inundated with people asking when the next phase of apartments will be released. I’m pleased to say that it has now been launched and househunters in Rugby are invited to visit Edison Place and see the plans for the new apartments for the first time.”

With a mixture of one and two bedroom apartments available, each property has a modern design, benefitting from open plan kitchen and living area, and allocated parking as standard. Additionally, each of the two bedroom apartments will feature an en suite leading off the master bedroom. In keeping with St. Modwen Homes’ philosophy of light and height, the apartments will boast higher than average ceilings and large windows, creating a bright and spacious feeling throughout the home.

The apartments are priced between £104,995 and £142,995.

Bev said: “The new apartments have been designed with both first time buyers and local investors in mind, many of whom will be attracted to both the quality of design and the location near to Rugby Train Station and the town centre.

“Additionally, the apartments will be available to purchase under the government’s Help to Buy scheme, which means purchasers could need a deposit of just 5%, perfect for first time buyers looking to get their foot onto the property ladder.”

To date, St. Modwen Homes has delivered 60 new homes at Edison Place, made up of apartments and two, three, four and five bedroom houses. Edison Place is part of St. Modwen’s broader multi-million pound regeneration of the former Alstom industrial site at Leicester Road in Rugby, where the developer has recently submitted an outline planning application for the delivery of 10,000 sq m of retail space.
